An intimate New York performance space
Adorama, a NYC-based camera store, wanted to integrate with the New York music scene in a more prominant way. This effort and investment led to the construction and design of CBS Radio New York’s Adorama Live Theatre. The Houston subway station leads to a distinct part of Soho; we wanted to bring those vibes to the theatre.
The subway, as frustrating as it can be,
is a staple of life in the city. I photographed the Houston Station to wrap the space authentically.
The theatre was brought to life with playful lighting
and simulated subway car windows; both are customizable for each artist, personality, or sponsor that uses the space.
